Starting first as a medical assistant, Dr. Rashid has worked with Planned Parenthood in many capacities over the years. A graduate of Tufts University, Moira Rashid decided to go to medicine because they believe that access to health care is an equity and social issue, and they wanted to ensure people of all backgrounds are able to get the care they need and deserve. With experience working with under resourced patients, she completed her fellowship in reproductive health and family planning and completed her residency with the University of California, San Francisco. The Regional Clinical Leader of the Reproductive Health Access Project, Moira is also a member of American Academy of Family Physicians and Society of Family Planning. In their free time, Dr. Rashid enjoys traveling, yoga, spending time with their pets, and cooking.
